YOUTH SPACE

GRADES 7 TO 12 | SPECIAL EVENT | BILINGUAL | IN PERSON | LIMITED SPOTS (MAX. 15)

**Please note, Youth Space hours have changed for the summer.** 

Youth Space offers a safe and inclusive space to connect with peers, be themselves, have fun, relate to others and talk about things important to them. We also provide snacks and a light supper!

  • Every second Thursday of the month: Everyone group

  • Every fourth Thursday of the month:  2SLGBTQIA+ group

Groups in August

Everyone Group: August 14th from 3 PM to 6 PM

  • Theme: Sweet Treats Quest
  • Activities: Life-Size Candy Land game and making cake pops!
  • Dinner: Pizza

2SLGBTQIA+ Group: August 28th from 3 PM to 6 PM

  • Theme: Enchanted Paths
  • Activities: Movie night – My Neighbor Totoro (1988) and create your own terrarium!
  • Dinner: Shawarma

Groups in September

Everyone Group: September 11th from 4 PM to 7 PM

  • Theme: Level Up – Face It, Grow From It
  • Activities: Obstacle course and art challenges!
  • Dinner: Chicken nuggets and fries

2SLGBTQIA+ Group: September 25th from 4 PM to 7 PM

  • Theme: Glow Up – Fuel Your Mindset
  • Activities: Glow in the dark games and making fairy jars!
  • Dinner: Grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup

Registration opens the Monday of the week before at 8:30 a.m. and closes the Tuesday prior at 11:30 p.m. If you have any complications registering online, please email Tanya or call 613-830-4357, ext. 140.

Youth Summer Outing

Registration opens August 4th at 8:30 a.m. and closes August 18th at 8:30 a.m. If you have any complications registering online, please email Tanya.

  • For all outings, the consent of a parent/legal guardian is required for participants under 18 years of age. Participants aged 18 years or older can consent for themselves. Transportation to and from the location is the responsibility of the parent/legal guardian.
