Employment and Social Services is pleased to share details about the Rural Outreach Pilot program, which will be delivered from September to December 2026. This pilot is designed to improve access and provide in-person support to rural clients who may face barriers attending the ESS Ontario Works east office location at 2339 Ogilvie Rd.
An Ontario Works Case Worker will be available 3 days a week at designated rural sites where ongoing clients can obtain in-person support relating to: updating their OW file, assessing for additional benefits, and referring to community programs and services.
Outreach Locations & Hours:
In-person support will be available from 9:00 AM to 4:00 pm.
