| Coalition of Community Health and Resource Centres of Ottawa | | | The Coalition is a network of community-based health and resource centres which recognizes the importance of responding to the diversity of needs within local communities and pays particular attention to those members of the community who are most vulnerable and at risk. For example:
- Develop the capacity of communities to address local issues; - Advocate and facilitate social action; and - Plan, design, coordinate and provide francophone and anglophone health and social services, that contribute to healthy communities within Ottawa.
The Coalition advocates at many levels and on many issues to help people gain access to the basic supports - including shelter and food - they need to reach their full potential.
We work with the citizens we serve to develop strong and healthy communities across Ottawa. And building such quality communities should be everyone's concern - after all, our communities are where we live, work and play.
