The Orléans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre's Food Bank (OCCRC) offers emergency food for low-income individuals and families, community education, information and referral to community resources.

Nicole - récipiendaire_en2011 MEMBER AGENCY PROGRAM AWARD
The Orléans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre is proud to announce that our Emergency Food Program won the 2011 Member Agency Program Award offered by the Ottawa Food Bank. The award was received at the Hampton Inn on April 28th, 2011.

Congratulations to Nicole Perras-Leduc (Emergency Food Program Coordinator) and to the team of volunteers who work tirelessly to offer the best service possible to our clients. This Award is a crowning achievement of a very busy year resulting in 3 major changes (1) moving the program to new location (2) changing the client services process and (3) offering the Christmas program for the first time directly within the Food Program which meant many adjustments.

Congratulations to all our staff who directly contribute to the success of the Emergency Food Program!

Special thank you to the team of volunteers who play a vital role in the program’s operation. Without their contribution we would not be able to reach as many people and families!

This Award is a beautiful testimony to great team work!!!
